Stoneware throwing for advanced students with Eva Koj
Form, precision and further development on the potter's wheel
This workshop is designed for participants with prior experience who have already taken a course and wish to deepen their skills on the potter's wheel. Under the guidance of ceramic artist Eva Koj, we will work on larger vessels, refining our technique and sense of form. The focus will be on throwing to measure and working "from the block" to develop precise proportions and harmonious lines. Those who wish can design a teapot and throw and assemble the individual parts – body, spout, lid, and handle. This will result in unique pieces that combine craftsmanship with personal expression.
What to expect:
Deepening your throwing technique and working "from the block"
Developing a larger vessel or teapot
Throwing, attaching, and assembling individual components
Personal guidance from Eva Koj

What our guests say about this workshop
In the workshop, pottery is made with humor and enthusiasm; the bowl becomes crooked, but the heart remains young!
