This workshop is designed for participants with prior experience who have already taken a course and wish to deepen their skills on the potter's wheel. Under the guidance of ceramic artist Eva Koj, we will work on larger vessels, refining our technique and sense of form. The focus will be on throwing to measure and working "from the block" to develop precise proportions and harmonious lines. Those who wish can design a teapot and throw and assemble the individual parts – body, spout, lid, and handle. This will result in unique pieces that combine craftsmanship with personal expression.

About the artist:
Eva Koj is a ceramic artist living near Kiel. She studied ceramics at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel and has been working in her own studio since the 1990s. She has received numerous awards for her vessels, including first prize at the Hüfingen Ceramics Weeks.
