Open Workspace

Our open workshop gives you the opportunity to work independently on your artistic projects or extend your creative stay after one of our workshops, with professional equipment and an inspiring setting in the Aukrug Nature Park.

What you can expect:
Our workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to work independently in the field of ceramics, wood, sculpture, or screen printing. The following areas are available to you:

Potter's Wheels
Freehand work in construction ceramics
firing in the kiln at 1280 °C
Screen printing
Wood Carving
Sculpting and modeling in clay, plaster, or wax

For longer creative stays, we offer overnight accommodations in the artist's apartment or loft. Following a workshop, you can continue to live in your room and use a kitchen.
You work independently and can take care of yourself.

Full day (10 am - 6 pm) €30 per day
Half day (10 am to 2 pm or 2pm to 6 pm) €18
10-day pass (full day) €240

Overnight Guests
€ 18 per day, €15 per day for stays 3 days or more

Material
You are welcome to bring your own materials, or purchase them from us at the following rates:
Clay €1.60/kg
Porcelain €4.75/kg

Firing Fees
Biscuit firing ca. 980 degrees celsius 8€/kg
Glaze firing for stoneware or porcelain 1280 degrees Celsius 12€/kg
For particularly large pieces, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee if required.
