The proper preparation of the 'white gold,' concentrated throwing, meticulous assembling, controlled drying, and precise firing are skillfully imparted by Karin Bablok, a master in ceramic craftsmanship and certified artist, with empathy and on an equal footing. A bit of theory is integrated to understand the processes in the clay. Collaborative observation and discussion of works by renowned ceramic artists help us identify design features that are stylistically significant and provide inspiration. The emphasis is clearly on 'doing.'

Upon arrival at 4:00 PM, we will start setting up our potter's wheels at 5:00 PM and be introduced to the theme by the artist until dinner at 7:30 PM. On Saturday, we will begin after breakfast at 10:00 AM and will only be interrupted by good conversations and delicious meals until Sunday afternoon, around 3:30 PM.
