Spoons and Jewelry – Shaping with Wax

In this workshop, we explore the creative possibilities of wax, a material that can be carved, melted, drilled, pressed, or poured. We shape jewelry pieces, spoons, or small objects – whether intuitively or with a clear plan. The finished forms can be cast in metal afterwards (via an external foundry, if desired).

What to expect:

  • Introduction to wax working
  • Creating jewelry, spoons, or free sculptural objects
  • Space for experimentation or detailed design
  • Artist talk and exchange with Gabi Veit
  • A weekend of focused work and creative conversation

All materials are provided. You’re welcome to bring your own tools or sketches. No goldsmithing skills required – this course is open to all.

About the artist
Gabi Veit is a jewelry artist based in South Tyrol and Florence. Her work has been exhibited internationally – in Milan, Munich, Amsterdam, New York, and Seoul. Her spoons combine function with sculptural form – each piece is one of a kind. More: gabiveit.it
