Enamelling is an age-old craft that has lost none of its fascination to this day and which we want to explore here in the first steps: Enamel is a special glass that is melted on metal as a carrier material in the oven at 800 degrees Celsius. In order to familiarize ourselves with the material enamel, on the first day we make a pendant in the technique of cloisonneés (cell fusion). By bending thin wires, a conscious, directed design is possible. Afterwards, we create an enamel picture that can be painterly, experimental or functional.
Eva Sörensen started working with enamel after her goldsmith training and design studies. Today, her focus is on translating this design into comfortable jewelry. More information at: www.eva-soerensen.de

After dinner together at 18:00 we start with an introduction to the subject by the artist. On Saturday we start at 10:00 a. m. and then we are interrupted by delicious food and nice conversations until Sunday afternoon approx. 3:30 p. m.
